Welcome to EverWell: Why Your Health Deserves More Than Just 'Getting By'
Hi, I’m Ellie — and I want to start by saying thank you for being here.
This blog, and EverWell as a whole, has been created from years of working on the frontline of healthcare, a deep passion for lifestyle medicine, and my own personal experiences navigating life, womanhood, and wellbeing. EverWell is more than just a name — it’s a promise. A reminder that your health doesn’t have to be something you only think about when things go wrong. It’s something you can nurture, grow, and take back control of — every single day.
A Little About Me
I’ve worked in the NHS for over 10 years as an Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, starting in emergency care before moving into minor injury units, palliative care, and now, in general practice with a specialised focus on women’s health and wellbeing.
Throughout my career, I’ve seen so many people — especially women — dismissed, rushed, or misunderstood when it comes to their health. Whether it’s anxiety written off as "just hormones", perimenopause symptoms going undiagnosed, or people told to “just lose weight” without deeper conversations about sleep, stress, or trauma — the system so often misses the whole person.
That’s why I created EverWell. I wanted to offer a space that bridges clinical expertise with real-world empathy, offering people support that’s personalised, proactive, and empowering.
What EverWell Stands For
EverWell is a health coaching and wellbeing service rooted in compassion, clinical knowledge, and a deep respect for the body and mind as a connected system.
Here’s what I offer:
1:1 coaching that goes beyond the surface — we explore your lifestyle, your stress, your cycle, your mindset, and what health truly means for you.
Fitness and movement guidance that feels achievable and supportive (I’m currently qualifying as a Level 3 Personal Trainer to bring even more to this).
Walk & talk sessions — because sometimes, clarity comes best with fresh air and a slower pace.
Corporate wellbeing and school talks on topics like hormonal health, menopause, stress, and proactive self-care.
At the heart of everything I do is the belief that health is not just the absence of illness. Health is energy. It’s clarity. It’s feeling strong in your body and steady in your mind. It’s confidence. It’s choice.
Why Proactive Health Matters
The truth is, most people come to health services only when something feels broken. I’ve seen it countless times: burnout that could have been prevented. Long-term conditions that spiralled. Mental health that silently declined. Hormonal imbalances that were normalised for too long.
We need to flip that script.
Proactive health is about learning your body’s language before it starts shouting.
It’s about:
Knowing how your stress levels affect your hormones, sleep, and weight
Syncing your movement and lifestyle with your menstrual cycle or stage of life
Creating habits that support your energy, not deplete it
Being your own health advocate — with the tools, language, and confidence to ask for what you need
When you begin to see your body as something to work with, not against, everything changes. You stop punishing it. You start listening to it. And you start making choices from a place of self-respect, not shame or fear.
Why I Do This Work
Beyond my clinical background, I’m a BodyCombat & BodyPump instructor, runner, hiker, and a woman who's navigated her own challenges and transformations. I've felt the disconnect, the fatigue, the questions about what's "normal." I’ve also felt the deep empowerment that comes from understanding and owning your health — and I want that for you too.
I created EverWell because I want to bring together the science and soul of health. To offer a service that honours both evidence and empathy. That allows you to feel heard, supported, and reconnected with yourself.
Let’s Stay Connected
This blog will be a space for education, insight, and inspiration. I’ll be sharing topics like:
Hormone health and understanding your cycle
Stress, sleep, and managing burnout
Fitness and movement through different life stages
Creating healthy habits that actually stick
Women’s health, perimenopause, contraception, and more
Whether you're here out of curiosity, burnout, or you're ready to make a shift — you’re welcome exactly as you are.
And if you’re ready to take the first step, you can book a free discovery call or reach out via the contact form. I’d love to meet you.
Here’s to health that feels empowering.
To wellbeing that’s sustainable.
To living ever well — from the inside out.
With warmth,
Ellie
